MAM Museum is a nonprofit cultural entity, we are only conducting a series of cultural road shows through its exhibitions in any region when our services are required to do so, in PWTC, KLCC, MINES, or in overseas, like in China & HK since 2002 till 2013 today, by extending our nonprofit services through our Blog World, as our e-Museum Marketing, Museum Promotion, Museum e-University Education Program, to promote our Melaka as regional sustainable cultural tourism hub.
The attached and presented MAM academic Papers, is showing how those sunken treasures, shipwrecks artifacts, especially those dated 13th century Tin Money of Melaka, some in animal shape, some minted in Melaka Sultanate Period, some in Portuguese era, some in Dutch period, dated within 15th century, some in China Copper Coins, named locally as ” Cheng Ho Coin, not in original copper , but minted in 80% tin, 20% lead…according to Malaysia Jabatan Kimia’s Laboratory Test Report, Malaysia…“, some called Tampang….Tanga, or Cheg Ho Money….etc
BUT, MAM must reiterated here, all those locally called “ Tin Money “ are only confirmed found along the present sites of old Public Bank and Semabok dumping ground in early 1970’, some are found along sea front of Bandar Hilir by local fishermen, anak Kampong….Better known areas are  present sites of Mahkota Parade ( 80 acres reclaimed in early 1983 ) and reclamation lands of Kota Laksamana in early 1980’ and Dataran Pahlawan in 2003, when project of beautification and clearing of Sungai Melaka were conducted & implemented!
MAM Museum must categorically to reiterate here again that : “ Those found Tin Money are NOT yet be confirmed & certified by any archaeological  sites of its mint in Melaka, so far is only here say by those found these tin money by local fishermen, some say from Pulau Besar,  some claimed from small islands or sea beaches or riverside, or unearthed when development projects were carried on, or when reclamation projects  conducted, all are hear say, NOT archaeological data or academic data provided professionally,  or substantiated by our authority or qualified academic research team since early 19070’…
