CM Officiate Opening

So friendly and humble CM  
(a ) Chief Mijister not only visited our displayed cultural items, like circa 600-year old Tin Money , is an unique Melaka-owned and discovered along Sungai Melaka and along the sea front of Straits of Malacca, celadon artefact  ,  porcelain and other objects.
(b) CM also discussed with us the management,  development and preservation of our Melaka Culture & Tourism, as our sustainable cultural tourism industry.
( c ) CM also advised us to further promote and develop as our Melaka’s new cultural economy and cultural creativity industry.( d ) eventually to unlock and enhance its cultural values as our Melaka Cultural Capital, as our universal heritage, especially those identified “ Open Living Museum where Hereen Street, Jonker Street, Jalang Tokong, Sungai Melaka & etc.,  those areas classified as Core Zone of  our UNESCO-World Heritage City,  which enriched and empowered in our Open Living Human Treasure zone, shall  be culturally classified as  our Melaka Tangible & Intangible Cultural Heritage. We Are The World, We Are One…..!





This cultural time zone, in fact, shall be read as our Melaka time capsule and historical zoning, is our Melaka Super Cultural Corridor, where our Museum Belt structured into, surrounding the St. Paul Hill, A Formasa, Christ Church, Stadhyuts, Clock Tower, just adjoining and opposite to Hereen Street, Jonker Street, Melaka Riverside, Kuan-Yin Temple, Jalan Tokong known as Muhibah Community, Global Peace Village, where Tao-based temple, Buddhism-related temple, Muslim Mosques, Hindu Temple & Sam-Tau Temple are harmonized together, reflecting its multi-religion, multiculturalism , multi-ethnic society….

All In All, is only 15 minutes walking distance…Here is our MAM Jonker88 Group based & built since 1998…..one strategically located at 88, Jalan Hang Jebat ( Jonker 88 ), one located at the cultural heartland of Muzium Belia ( former Post Office building, red building zone, adjoining Christ Church & Stadhyuts , in front of Sungai Melaka )







One March 9, 2012, is our CM Melaka second time to officiate opening our MAM Jonker88, one in early April 2003, where our copy right Postcard Gift Pack are officiated launching by CM at Clock Tower, organized by PERZIM…..while CM visited our MAM Centre….MAM Museum is an cultural non profit organization, is legally incorporated in Malaysia on 1998….MAM Museum is an institutional member of UNESCO-ICOM ( 29766 ), also served as international committee members of UNESCO-ICOM, ICOOMON, ICOM-Conservation, ICO-Exhibition & Exchange, ICOM-Modern Arts, is a national member of ICOMMAL Malaysia.

NB Teo is chairman of  Jonker Cultural Heartland, Madam Loh is his partner.











Jenny Wong has successfully run her well known Baba Curry Laksa and Asam Laksa, Goreng2 and Nyonya Salad since 1998, located at Jonker 88 ( No: 88, Jalan Hang Jebat, Melaka ). Jenny Wong is also an international member of UNESCO-ICOM, and member of ICOMMAL, Malaysia. She is also specialising in her newly established seven treasures career, among those are Crystal & Precious Stone-based cultural products and collection items, as exhibited in her MAM Centre & Jonker88 Gallery.
